In Rell Seas, players have to traverse various landmasses like sea, islands, and other deserted areas to finish missions and embark on unique adventures. The best way to reach such destinations is to make use of wildlife mounts, which allows for a much faster way of traveling than on foot. Currently, the developers have announced various types of rideable mounts in the game, ranging from simple owls to enormous sea whales.
While most of the mounts have to be tamed or found inside the game, the Rell Seas developers long back announced that the Discord subscribers/members would get unique pets during the early access/launch of the game. We still need to get information regarding the exact mounts that will be available to players.
Below is a list of mounts that were leaked and partially confirmed by the developer till now.
Crab Mount[edit | edit source]
The Crab is an amphibious mount that can be used to travel both on land and water. Though many details are not available, it looks like we can use the claws of the crab for attacking as well, but that needs to be confirmed.
Crocodile Mount[edit | edit source]
One of the Mounts announced pretty early by the developers is the crocodile. If my prediction is correct, this will be one of the mounts that can be used on both land and water. We still need to find out whether it will be used for attacking or will remain only a mount for transportation.
Darkus Mount[edit | edit source]
The Darkus is a dragon-type flying creature in the Rell Seas that can be used for offensive attacks and traveling. Apart from its bright orange-colored appearance, much is not known about the beast.
Deer Mount[edit | edit source]
A mount that has been spoken the most ever since the leaks started dropping is the Deer. At first glance, you will definitely confuse the mount with the famous fantasy creature from the Pokemon series — Deerferno. The mount looks cute, for sure, but other than we don't have any details about it at the moment.
Dunky Owl Mount[edit | edit source]
The Dunky Owl is a flying-type mount in the game that allows players to cover pretty long distances by gliding through the air. Speaking of its design model, the creature looks exactly like the majestic flying owls found in Harry Potter movies.
Komachiyo Mount[edit | edit source]
The Komachiyo is another mythical/fantasy mount in Rell Seas that is clearly inspired by the Japanese mythological creature Komainu. It looks like a land-based creature that can carry up to two players and quickly hop across terrains.
Mammoth Mount[edit | edit source]
Indicative of its name, the Mammoth is a large land-type mount that looks like the modern-day elephant. Compared to other rideable entities, the Mammoth might be a slowing-moving creature that may be useful in traversing tricky terrains and mountains. But, the talk around the community is that the mount will be mainly used for battles rather than traveling.
Shelly or Horse Mount[edit | edit source]
The Shelly, or the horse mount, is one of the funny/unique rideable creatures in the game. The main reason for this is the long neck of the creature, which makes it look more like a giraffe than a horse. As a One Piece fan myself, I can clearly notice that the developers were inspired by the character of the same name from the Tonjith story arc.
Tiger Mount[edit | edit source]
The Tiger is a land-based mount in the game that will be one of the fastest mounts in the game. Though the developers have named the creature a Tiger, it looks more like a big old grumpy cat straight out of a children's anime cartoon.
Two Wheel Bike[edit | edit source]
The Two Wheel Bike is one of the mounts in the game that will be rewarded to the silver/gold user for free. We currently need to find out details about the Bike or how it will work as there is a lingering question of whether it will consume fuel or not, and if so, how you will get/make one and more!
Whale Mount[edit | edit source]
The Whale will be one of the largest water-based or, if not the biggest, mount in Rell Seas. As the name suggests, it is nothing but the in-game recreation of the real-life Whale that can travel underwater and even take on water-based enemies like Sea Beasts. The Whale Mount might be one of the mounts that can be obtained for free if you are a Gold subscriber in the Rell Seas Discord channel.
