Ships Ships are the primary means of transport in Rell Seas, and they allow you to shunt between any two islands quickly and securely in the game. Along with providing a safe passage for you and your crew, you can also equip various weapons on your ship to turn it into a battleship and conduct battles with other crews during your voyage. Also, ships are upgradeable entities in Rell Seas, which means you can completely customize your ship stats, ranging from speed, armor, and durability while providing unique perks. On top of that, there are dozens of cosmetic customizable options for ships, including flag options, hull colors, and more. Types of Ship Currently, there are three types of ships in the game, with rumors of additional ones being added in future updates. Sloop Caravel Galleon Submarine Ship Stats Upgrading your ship is essential for the survival of your crew in Rell Seas, as you can only win the battle or survive attacks from other seafarers if you improve the base stats of your ship. As of now, each ship in Rell Seas possesses the following stats that can be upgraded inside the game. Speed: This stat determines how fast or slow your ship can move in an open water area. Armor: The overall armor capacity of your ship. Remember, your ship will only start taking in damages after the depletion of the armor. Cannons: This stat determines how many cannons can be equipped on your battleship. Turn Speed: The turn speed stats tells how fast you can steer and turn your boat in the game. Ram Strength: The maximum strength of the ram attached to your boat. Durability: The durability stat determines the attack-taking capacity of your boat. Ship Perks Every ship in Rell Seas will have unique perks that can be unlocked from a list of options. As of now, many details regarding this feature have yet to be made available. Ship Parts Along with improving the stats of your ship, it is essential to attach the required Ship Parts to make your boat more lethal in battle. The following list contains some of the confirmed Ship Parts to be present in the game. Wings: Attaching these improves the overall speed of your ship. Cannons: Cannons are used to attack other ships in the game. You can craft each of these parts using materials/resources associated with them. For new ship parts, you have to collect blueprints by finishing missions or receiving them as a drop reward for beating bosses. Cosmetic Customization of Ship Rell Seas has a lot of cosmetic customization options for the ships. Almost everything from your pirate flag to ship color can be customized in the game. Below, I have listed some of the confirmed customization options present inside the game. Flag: Players have the option to change the color of their flag, decide the number of flags, and even decide the position on the ship. Materials: You can decide the materials with which you can build the boat. Colors: If you don't like the look of your boat, you can always change the color of all the parts of this ship. This includes the hull, hull frame, sleeve, handrail, and balusters. Furniture: Players can decorate their ships with furniture and other accessories to improve the visual appearance of their boats. Spawning your Ship To spawn your ship, you have to go to any open water area. Now, pull out your bottle from the inventory/taskbar and place it in your hand. Immediately, a large red spawn marker will appear in front of you. Move that marker to fix a spawn location and press the LMB to spawn the ship. Repairing your Ship During battles, your ship will suffer a lot of damage and needs to be adequately repaired to ensure it is working at its total capacity. For this, you require the help of Shipwrights in the game who can repair the weak points of your ship using the proper materials like wood, iron, or more. Due to this, it is highly recommended that you have a Shipwright, Woodcutters, and other essential roles on your crew for the proper functioning of the ship's system. If you are constantly neglecting the repairs of your boat, your ship will take a lot of damage during the fight, leading to the demise of your crew.

Also, a very highlight feature is that you can repair your ship during fights, allowing you to engage in battle and repair at the same time. Anchoring your Ship If you are operating with a small crew size, it is always better to anchor your ship to avoid getting stolen by other players. So, always anchor your boat to the ground before hopping onto any island for events or quests to safeguard your ship from being hijacked. Ship Combat System The Ship Combat System in Rell Seas is pretty simple. All you have to do is strategically align yourself with the other ship and shoot them down with your installed cannons. To identify and understand the damage done, Rell Seas has introduced a unique color marker system in the game. So, all you have to do is focus on these markers on the enemy's ship and shoot this location. No Color - This indicates that the ship is yet to take damage. Yellow Color - The yellow color shows that the ship has suffered a bit of damage, and you need to hit the yellow markers to attack them further. Orange Color - This is the second stage of combat; this means your opponent's ship is on the verge of sinking, and all you need to do is repeatedly hit the orange areas. Red Color - This is the final stage of combat, and the ship will sink if you attack the red marker a single time.
